The first bi-annual Doll Show and Sale in Ottawa on Saturday April 5th, 2014, with all proceeds, including admission going to The Ottawa Food Bank. So for anyone wanting to make the trip, it’s definitely for a good cause, and should be lots of fun!
I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine’s Day. There’s one more Valentine’s card you missed…Barbie’s! Mattel’s new Cupid’s Kisses doll is a Barbie Fan Club Exclusive, but whether you just want to look, or have one of your own…this Barbie is sweet enough for a second look, just ask Ken, because one look was all it took! With her beautiful red and white dress, and even with a Barbie sized card, and box of chocolates, and her bottle of perfume, she’s ready for Valentine’s Day!
Going with the theme of our February newsletter, I couldn’t resist sharing these once I stumbled across them. These were part of a collection of dolls called Living Dead Dolls, which came in coffin shaped boxes and all, all with a little bit of horror and fright, and just a perfect monster’s delight! So after all the talk of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, along with so many spine tinglingly creepy dolls, I’d like to introduce you to Rotten Sam and Sandy.
Some ladies will be bringing you a doll show and sale, and inviting you to join in on the fun!
The Doll Show Extravaganza, which will be at the Viscount Gort [1670 Portage Ave] here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on March 30th. Check it out, and enjoy the fun!
All your favorite fairy tale characters have now grown up and had children of their own, making up the Ever After High dolls, made by Mattel [Barbie, Monster High]. These cuties are divided into two groups: The Royals, and The Rebels. In the photo above, from left to right, we have Hunter Huntsman, Cerise Hood, Madeline Hatter, Raven Queen, C. A. Cupid, Apple White, Briar Beauty, Ashlynn Ella, and Blondie Lockes. They finally arrived in stores here just before Christmas, and they’ve been selling fast. So go check out the famous children of your favorite storybooks!
