If you want to find out who your Barbie is this is the best online resource currently available. This extensive database was lovingly assembled by a group of collectors in Germany. It is always growing and includes thousands of Barbies, and other Mattel lines. It’s one of the most complete resources available.

Something About The Boy
This is basically a blog created by a Ken collector. It is absolutely the most comprehensive database for all things Ken. Over the years it has evolved into an essential tool for any collector who wants to learn about Ken, his outfits and his friends. There are a lot of Ken Clones included on this site too.

Doll Reference
This is the place to go for help to identify antique dolls. One of the very few websites with pictures of antique dolls and not just maker’s marks. There are quite a large variety of European and North American manufactured dolls. This is the place where you’ll find Carnival Dolls and Dress Me dolls. They have a limited list of Vintage Barbies but there are clones like Tammy and Tressy. They are the only site I’ve seen Antique Advertising dolls including Eatons Beauty Dolls.

Martha's Fashion Dolls
Martha is a private collector from Germany. She has a large amount of clone dolls that she has identified. Her website has a ton of pictures. She also has an email address so other collectors can ask her about dolls they may not be able to find. Its a good place to look for Bild Lilli clothes and dolls too.

Toy Sisters
Toy Sisters is a retail site, but they maintain a fantastic database of Modern toys. They have compiled guides to help you I.D. Barbies, dolls and other toys including My Little Pony, Disney Dolls, Monster High and a lot of other more obscure lines including plush toys. Note that they do not have vintage Barbies on this site. The list starts at 1977, but it does have good images of Foreign Market Barbies, which includes Canada. So here is a good place to find Canadian and European exclusives.
